EMS & EHS SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM
The Epping School District serves nutritious inexpensive breakfasts and lunches to students each day within the USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans and meal requirements specified by the USDA and National School Lunch Program. Student and staff input is always welcome as we work to meet nutritional requirements and serve meals you will enjoy.

WHAT'S NEW & ANNOUNCEMENTS
New Rates for September 2012 Breakfast $1.50, Lunch $2.50, Deli Meal $3.00 Lunch prices are increasing this year due to new federal regulations which state that the district's average meal prices cannot be less than the federal reimbursement rate for free and reduced meals.
Free and Reduced Meals (Breakfast & Lunch) Program The Epping School District participates in the federal Free and Reduced Meals (Breakfast & Lunch) Program administered through the NH Department of Education. Parents or guardians may apply for this program at any time.
Application materials are sent home at the beginning of the school year. If you did not receive the materials or your financial situation has changed, please use free and reduced application in the "Forms" section below to aid in your application. Return all materials to the school in care of the Food Service Program. All applications are confidential.
Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 enacted new regulations significantly impacting schools and school meals program. This school year nutrition guidelines will be fully implemented applying to all foods available to students on school grounds during the school day including, but not limited to the school lunch and breakfast program, foods and beverages sold in vending machines/school stores and as part of classroom lessons/activities, parties, celebrations, or fundraising efforts. More detail on these regulations can be found in Policy JLCF Wellness, Health and Physical Activity Policy (see policy section below).
Parents are encouraged to pay in advance either by check or online and to monitor their student's food service account balance online using MealTime. If you choose to pay online by credit card, there is a 4% administrative fee. Please note that online payments received after 5:00 am will not be recorded until the following day. You may click on the Mealtime icon below to access your student's information and/or make a payment.
