Important Attendance Policy Information
Consistent with state guidelines for dealing with the H1N1 influenza, Epping High School is modifying its student attendance policy.
Absences from school for which a parent provides a verbal or written confirmation of flu-like symptoms (fever, sore throat, cough, vomiting, or diarrhea) will not count toward the five absence limit and will not need to be appealed.
As the Superintendent stated in her letter: 'if you or your child is sick, stay home from work or school until you are better. ... Sick students will not be penalized for staying home. All students will have ample opportunity to make up missed work."
