PARENT RIGHTS AND POLICIES
The District is committed to providing a safe and engaging learning environment for all students and together we can make it happen. The Annual Parent Notice of Rights and Policies includes summarized information governing the learning environment in accordance with state and federal law.
Proper Nutrition Initiative - Additionally, the District is asking for your help in making sure that all of our students are ready to learn throughout the school day. Proper nutrition is key to the learning process. Breakfast and lunch are provided daily by the Food Services Program. You may also send your child to school with a home prepared breakfast and lunch. The District also participates in the federally funded National School Meals Program which offers free or reduced priced breakfast and lunch to students whose parents meet the federal income guidelines. Participation in this program benefits everyone by feeding hungry students as well as increasing our school funding so that the District may offer more educational programs and support services for our students. All families are encouraged to fill out the application for free or reduced cost meals. Applications will be sent home with each student at the start of the school year and should be returned as soon as possible.
Epping Students Not Attending Epping Schools - The District also welcomes students residing in Epping and attending home schools, charter schools, private schools, and out-of-district special education schools. Students may be eligible to participate in core classes, other classes, co-curricular activities, social activities, and/or extra-curricular activities. Please reference Student Participation for Students Residing in Epping, But Not Attending Epping Schools for details.
We look forward to working with you and your child!
