Just before Thanksgiving Break, our newly elected class officers began working closely with their class advisor, Principal Mazzone, and their teachers to review building norms and engage in meaningful two-way discussions about life at EMHS. Our students were exceptional, and the discussions were both rich and informative.
Since then, these conversations have continued, with the student council gradually taking on the responsibility of developing meeting agendas and structures. Through this process, the students have learned to establish norms that promote meeting efficiency, collaboration, and communication. Additionally, they demonstrated remarkable commitment and maturity while reviewing our safety and security procedures (A.D.D.), which were presented to the entire Class of 2028.
A special thank-you goes to class officers Michael Poplaski, Maddie Sullivan, Malaya LaRoche, Jaidyn Waters, and Izzy Coolidge for their efforts in developing these critical norms for the Class of 2028. Great work—this is undoubtedly the beginning of many impressive accomplishments to come!
