As we head into the end of the school year, for technology that means collection of school owned devices.  In our department, we do check every device to see what condition they are in before we set them up for next year.  Our process is to have the students keep their devices as they walk through their grades.  We do replace them in Kindergarten, 5th grade and 9th grade.  Be on the lookout for more communication on dates and times for collection and what the process looks like!

In the news recently there have been some Cybersecurity issues happening in the state.  The Epping Tech Team takes the security of our network and data very seriously. Ever wonder if letting your child be on their devices before bed is a good idea?  Studies show that children should turn off devices at least 30 minutes prior to bedtime.  Watching a screen slows the production of melatonin and hurts the sleep cycle of children.
